Disaster Aid

Disaster Aid

Beginning with the San Francisco earthquake in 1906, Royal Neighbors has, along with its members, helped victims of all types of disasters through monetary donations and hands-on assistance. The Disaster Aid Program responds to community-level need.

The victims of such disasters as Hurricanes Katrina, Charley, Jeanne, and Ivan, the Iowa floods and tornadoes, and the California wildfires were given monetary help to get their lives back together. Numerous Royal Neighbors volunteers provided bottled water to residents of Flint, MI. who suffered from an ongoing water crisis. Royal Neighbors identifies opportunities to respond to community level needs.
